A smashing arrival for Ubisoft Sherbrooke

Moving, celebrations and new projects: it’s all happening on 70 Wellington South!

Having settled into our new studio at Espace Centro in late November, our arrival was enthusiastically celebrated by the whole team. We marked this special moment with an emblematic walk, starting from our former temporary studio to our new home. This walk through the neighborhood allowed us to meet our neighbors and warmly greet the community in which we are now committed and present.

See the proof: relive the opening celebration on November 28 to discover our new spaces…the wide-eyed wonder of our team speaks volumes!

A warm welcome!

On March 11, we also had the opportunity to show our colorful studio to the deputy of Saint-François, Geneviève Hébert, and the deputy mayor of Sherbrooke, Raïs Kibonge. The Eastern Townships’ techno-creative community was also in attendance: we showed them around our site, which embodies the spirit of the region and is inspired by the emblematic Wellington Hotel that once occupied the premises.

An incursion into the heart of Ubisoft: an open house in Sherbrooke

Over 500 video game enthusiasts and the Sherbrooke community attended our studio open house on March 16th. The event was a resounding success, with game playtests, a nacho bar, cotton candy, chats with our employees, interactive and VR games, a photobooth and much more!

We were delighted to see the exceptional enthusiasm for video games in the Eastern Townships, and we were delighted to welcome each participant… all accompanied by a big smile!

See you next time!
