Students have 10 weeks to deliver a playable video game prototype that follows the theme, guidelines, and constraints given by a jury of Ubisoft professionals. Students are free to organize into multidisciplinary, interdepartmental, or interuniversity teams to cover all the tasks necessary to complete the project. Each team can count on the support of two mentors from Ubisoft studios in Montreal, Quebec City and Saguenay. At the end of the competition, the jury selects winners in various categories and awards $22,000 in scholarships. Moreover, Ubisoft guarantees at least 10 internships or job opportunities for participants in the competition. In 2020, over 20 participants were hired throughout Québec.
